Trump Gives Wishy-Washy Answer when asked about divesting from crypto

President Donald Trump did not answer a journalist’s question to move to his family’s crypto companies in order to ensure the adoption of cryptocurrency’s key legislation, saying that the United States did not have crypto, China or other countries.

“Many Democrats have said that they would not support Crypto bills at Congress only because of you and your personal cryptographic companies in your family,” a journalist said at the White House on Friday.

When asked if he planned to disintegrate his cryptographic companies to mitigate political pressure on digital assets law on congress, Trump replied:

“I became a crypto fan, and for me, it’s an industry. I consider it an industry and I am president. And if we didn’t have it, China would do it, or someone else, but most likely China would like, and we dominated this industry.

We have created a very powerful industry, and it is much more important than everything we invest, “said Trump.
