How’s One Engineer Redefining Skies and Space?

The advantages for communities are clear. More precise turbulence modeling means less expensive prototypes, leading to safer and cheaper air trips. Airlines can control more effective planes, using less fuel and reducing emissions, saving money for passengers and helping the planet. Reddy’s work, shared at the AIAA SCITECH 2025 forum, inspired doctoral students and master’s students to rely on his conclusions, strengthening the world of aviation.

“Each test is a step towards safer and greener flights,” explains Reddy. “It’s about creating systems that serve everyone, from travelers to engineers, for years to come.”

Reddy’s work does not stop at the atmosphere of the earth. As a propulsion engineer in a Startup Space Tech in the Uttar Pradesh, in India, it was the key to building a 750kn liquid rocket engine to make space more affordable. Using Catia for design and Ansys to test heat and resistance, has refined the engine cooling system and the landing fins to manage difficult conditions. He also designed a test stand for prototypes, helping the startup to gain funding and team up with the ISRO and other groups.

This project is important worldwide. Cheaper rocket engines allow more countries and groups to explore space, allowing everyone to launch satellites and do research more easily. For communities, this means better weather forecasts, stronger communication networks and a faster disaster response through satellites. Reddy’s efforts have helped the startup win a recognition at the Forbes India DGEMS 2024 and at AEGIS Graham Bell Award, proving its role in Green Space Tech.

As a design engineer in Ohio, Reddy has helped develop class 6 electric trucks for a project called the “American project”. Using the design for manufacturing and assembly principles, it maintained the costs and accelerated the assembly while ensuring that the trucks were difficult. He worked with suppliers so that things go smoothly, increasing the production of electric vehicles.

The advantages for people are obvious. Electric trucks reduce emissions in industries such as waste collection and construction, air cleaning of the city. The cities that use these trucks save on operating costs, freeing money for schools or parks. Although Reddy was dismissed due to labor clippings, his manager wrote a letter renting his work, highlighting his role in Green Plus Green Transport.

“Difficult problem solving is not only a question of technology; It’s about building a better future for our cities, ”explains Reddy. “Each design choice can make a difference, improving lives.”

Reddy’s work is impressive. Its article, “an overview of the main challenges associated with the manufacture of hunting jet engines”, written during an internship at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, digs in the challenges of materials and the precision of SU-30 MKI jet engines. By offering practical corrections, Reddy’s work helps defense industries to build reliable and affordable engines, support national security and save money.

Another study, “advanced test and analysis of mechanical properties for 3D printing materials”, responds to the need for stronger 3D printing materials such as PLA and laying wood. By finding materials that resist better, Reddy’s searches allows manufacturers to manufacture light and durable parts for planes and everyday products, reduction in waste and costs. This helps small businesses and startups based on 3D printing.

His research on “digital analysis of the power system for the electric pump for the rocket at a higher stage” consider electrical systems as a cheaper option for rocket stages. By determining power needs, Reddy’s work supports lighter and more effective rockets, reducing the cost of space missions and opening the way to new discoveries.

Reddy’s talent has never gone unnoticed. In Air India, he was held among the highest 1% of the trainees and earned 90% for his control of planes maintenance. During the internship in a defense startup in India, he stood out among more than 800 candidates for a coveted position in Advanced Propulsion Research and won the CEO’s recommendation letter. Overall, these compliments testify to Reddy’s ability to perform extremely well in stimulating and competitive environments.

Ganesh Kumar Reddy can be described as a benefactor working with people in need. The work he undertakes puts the communities first: the design of trucks to clean the air of a city to build rocket engines to open a space, or look for greener ways to fly and everything else.
