Bitget and UNICEF team up to bring blockchain education to 300,000 girls
Crypto Exchange Bitget has signed a three -year partnership with Luxembourg of the United Nations (UNICEF) fund to advance digital skills and literacy of blockchain among young people, according to an announcement on Monday.
The agreement brings Bitget to the coalition of game changers led by the UNICEF innovation office.
The initiative aims to reach 300,000 participants – including adolescent girls, parents, mentors and teachers – in eight countries: Armenia, Brazil, Cambodia, India, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Morocco and South Africa.
By joining the coalition, Bitget aligns with partners such as the Global Video Game Coalition, the Micron Foundation and women in games with a joint goal of empowering 1.1 million girls with technological skills and blockchain by 2027.
This effort is supported by the Blockchain4her initiative of $ 10 million Bitget, which defends the digital literacy of women and financial independence by mentoring, financing and adapted educational resources.

Beyond the development of the curriculum, Bitget plans to connect UNICEF with prominent blockchain protocols and web developers. They can act as mentors and partners, bringing various technical perspectives to the program.
“We focus on the equipment of teenage skills in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) skills to help fill the gender skills deficit,” CEOL CHEN CEN, CEO of Bitget.
She said Bitget works with UNICEF to develop an evolutionary approach that integrates blockchain education into global programs, taking advantage of the best web3 experts to maintain practical training, relevant and accessible to all learners.
Globally, adolescent girls and young women in low and medium -income countries lose $ 15 billion in economic possibilities each year due to limited internet access and digital skills compared to their male peers. With 90% of jobs that now require digital skills, Bitget and UNICEF partnership seek to fill the gap.
Innovative methods and Rounsing Blockchain Education technology
As part of the partnership, Bitget Academy, the educational arm of the exchange, will help to design the first interactive training module of Unicef blockchain, combining online and in person sessions. The module will focus on using video game creation to teach the Blockchain fundamentals.
“The gamification of learning breaks down complex subjects to their hearts,” said Chen. “About 3.3 billion people worldwide play games, it is natural for us to learn the best when our environment is interactive and united.”
Beyond gamification, emerging technologies and generative AI are also used to expand access to specialized digital skills. The new initiative of the former CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao, Giggle Academy, is considering free education and accessible on a global scale of kindergarten to the 12th year provided by courses manufactured by AI.
