Bold Technologies, based in Abu Dhabi, a subsidiary of Conglomerate Bold Holdings, has teamed up with the international artificial intelligence company My Aion to launch an intelligent initiative of 2.5 billion dollars aimed at transforming urban infrastructure via AI.
Companies have announced the development of a platform called Aion Sentia Cognitive City, which manages complex urban systems. The platform will be propelled by Maia, a basic AI engine developed by my Aion, and aims to optimize and manage systems through mobility, energy, education, health care and digital services.
My CEO of Aion, Daniele Marinelli, said that AI will know the user well enough to “recommend the ideal place for your birthday dinner and book it for you without you lifting a finger”.
The project will make its debut in Abu Dhabi before developing internationally. It should be launched in 18 months.

The project is structured in a model of $ 2.5 billion in construction construction (BOT), a public-private partnership model for large-scale infrastructure and technology projects.

At the end of the period established by the parties involved, the property and control of the systems developed via the bot model are transferred to the government or to a public sector entity.
The CEO of Bold Technologies Thani Al Thani Al Falasi said that the initiative will support the creation of water jobs. “This initiative will support the creation of jobs for water nationals, promotes local innovation and will significantly contribute to the national AI ecosystem,” he said.
My My Aion Marinelli declared that the move to Abu Dhabi provides their global operations a new chapter. “Water provides the infrastructure and the institutional support necessary to evolve in a responsible and strategic manner,” said Marinelli.
