The S&P/BMV Bursa Optimo Index is designed to measure the performance of the largest and most liquid stocks listed on the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores using a weighting scheme that takes into account float-adjusted market cap, liquidity, and fundamental variables including net income, operating profit, profit margin, P/E and net debt-to-equity ratio.
