A second person suspected of being involved in a case of high -level cryptography removal in New York should turn into a police, according to several reports.

The second man is an investor of Swiss crypto who would have helped the trading partner Joel Woeltz, who is accused of having kidnapped Michael Valentino Teofrasto Carturan and torture him in an apartment in Soho in order to put him pressure to reveal his cryptographic portfolio sentence, ABC7 New York, reported on May 26.

A separate NBC report said that the Swiss merchant – who is not appointed – would turn to the police in a week. However, Fox5 New York reported that man was perhaps already in detention, citing contradictory sources.

The New York Post reported that man is the co-founder of a Swiss commercial company.

Woeltz, known as “Crypto King of Kentucky”, faces several accusations, notably kidnapping, an illegal imprisonment and assault. He would have held the victim in his apartment for 17 days.

Woeltz assistant, Béatrice Folchi, of Italian origin, was also arrested, however, she was released and no accusation was brought against her.

The arrests occurred after Teofrasto Carturan, 28 years old in Italy, managed to escape the apartment on May 23 – the day he would have been informed that it would be his “day of death”.

CNN reported that Teofrasto Carturan had agreed to give up his crypto seed sentence, which was stored on his laptop in another room, and while he was looking for his laptop, Woeltz turned his back, allowing him to bolt at the exit.

Several New York media have shared videos of the victim running outside, barefoot, to a traffic agent.
