The company added 3.9 million new 4G/5G customers, bringing the total to 280.7 million. However, despite this growth, Airtel continued to lag behind in terms of data consumption: on average, Airtel users consumed 26.9 GB/month, while Airtel-Jio users used an average of approximately 37 GB/month.
This quarter, total data used on the Airtel network reached 22.84 GB, an increase of 8.4% QoQ.
