The BNB channel has announced a major upgrade, the Pascal Hardfork, scheduled for March 20. The upgrade improves the compatibility of the Ethereum virtual machine (EVM), intelligent contract portfolios and developers’ flexibility.
This upgrade follows the recent upgrade of Ethereum Sepolia Testnet to Pectra, highlighting the rapid rhythm of the development of the blockchain.

The BNB channel has revealed the update in an article on X (Twitter), noting that Pascal Hardfork will improve the user experience and developers’ efficiency on the Smart Binance (BSC) channel.
The Uip-7702 is one of its most important implementations of Pascal Hardfork is the EIP-7702 (Ethereum 7702 improvement proposal). The upgrade potentially puts the network at the cutting edge of EVM compatible channels.

The founder and former CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), recognized the upgrade of Pascal, calling him an “important fork”. Meanwhile, the BNB channel has suggested that beyond Pascal Hardfork, other upgrades are in progress.
He cited Lorentz Hardfork, scheduled for April 2025 and should offer faster blocks at 1.5 seconds of transaction speed.
In addition, Maxwell Hardfork, due in June 2025, would make the BNB channel much faster, with a transaction speed of 0.75 seconds.
