Cardano’s Hoskinson Snubbed for White House Crypto Summit, Ripple CEO on the List

Anticipation develops in the crypto world before the White House cryptography summit for Friday, March 7, 2025. However, as the guest list began to take shape, a notable name is missing: the co-founder of Cardano, Charles Hoskinson. According to Unchained, a source from the White House confirmed that Hoskinson was not invited to the summit, and Cardano was not involved in discussions or political meetings with the administration.

“They run in town trying to push their own kind of story. They are not involved in anything about the essay to influence politics and they are not invited to the summit on Friday, “said the source of the White House Unchained.

The absence of Hoskinson is particularly surprising given the recent comments of President Trump. Trump said on Sunday that Ad de Cardano would be part of a crypto reserve, which led a lot to expect the presence of Hoskinson during the event.

Hoskinson had previously suggested that he could attend a fundraising dinner for the Pro-Crypto Pac Maga Inc., but the White House confirmed that he was not invited to this event either.

Key Focus of the Summit

The summit is expected to take place from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on March 7 and will be led by David Sacks, President Trump named IA and Crypto Czar. One of the main discussion points will be the treatment of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Commerce secretary Howard Lunick said in a recent interview that Bitcoin would be treated differently from other altcoins, as it is an important part of President Trump’s cryptographic strategy.
