The Dow Jones Islamic Market U.S. Target Risk (Fixed Allocation) Conservative Index (USD) is designed to measure the performance of Shariah-compliant U.S. equities, sukuk, and a cash component with predefined allocations. The index seeks to emphasize allocation to sukuk in order to produce a current income stream and avoid excessive volatility of returns. A 20% allocation to equity is included to protect long-term purchasing power.
