Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur and CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, confirmed that his new America group would adopt Bitcoin (BTC).
He also rejected traditional fiduciary currency as “hopeless”. The declaration was made in response to a request on X (formerly Twitter).

The announcement follows the Musk’s public flaw with President Donald Trump on the “Big Beautiful Bill”, which caused the creation of the America party. Musk, who was a major financial contributor to Trump campaigns, criticized legislation as economic damage.
Meanwhile, Musk’s support for crypto is not new. The CEO was a vocal supporter of Dogecoin (DOGE), his messages often causing price rallies for the meme piece.
