Coinbase to Delist Five Tokens Amid Token Upgrades – See If You’re Holding Any!

Coinbase, one of the most reliable and regulated crypto exchanges in the world, has announced that it will suspect the five tokens, notably Galxe (Gal), Littentry (bed), Mines of Dalarnia (DAR), Orion Protocol (ORN) and Parsiq (PRQ).
The trading stop will officially start on May 16, 2025, around 2:00 p.m. on all the platforms Coinbase, Coinbase.com, Coinbase Exchange and Coinbase Prime.
Why these tokens are struck off
According to Coinbase, this decision does not concern poor performance or security problems. Instead, it has to do with the token versions. Each of these projects, Gal, Lit, Dar, Orn and Prq, has published new versions of their tokens.
This means that the original versions listed on Coinbase are now considered to be exceeded and no longer meet the registration standards of the platform.
Coinbase cares very much to keep things safe, reliable and clear for its users. When tokens go through major upgrades or migrate to new contracts, elders can cause problems or stop working well. This is why Coinbase removes these oldest trading tokens.
Trading already in limit mode only
To relieve the transition, Coinbase has already moved the five pairs of tokens in limit mode only. This means that users can always place or cancel the limit orders, and transactions can occur, but no market order or advanced negotiation type is currently being supported.
It is a warning to the community, put your things in order before the complete suspension takes effect.
What happens to users who hold these tokens?
If you hold one of these tokens on Coinbase, it’s time to act. You may want to remove your assets or convert them before May 16. After the suspension, your ability to exchange them will have disappeared, at least on Coinbase.
