Gate.io, a global exchange of the leading cryptocurrency, successfully welcomed the inaugural event of football for future: Gate.io X Inter-Vietnam Football Charity Program in collaboration with FC Interazionale Milano on April 9, 2025. The initiative aims to improve sports facilities in the under-printed schools.
After a meticulous assessment, Gate.io identified Cam Xa Primary School in the province of Hung Yen as the first beneficiary of the program. Gate.io led construction and renovation, transforming an underdeveloped area into a modern football field of 880 m² equipped with 5 cm diamond fiber artificial grass, a lighting system with 250 W LED lights, a fence, a drainage infrastructure and other support facilities. At the end of March, the project was completed in just over 20 days, ensuring quick access to students to a safe and professional sports environment.
To commemorate the opportunity, Gate.io organized an official inauguration ceremony at the school on the morning of April 9, bringing together students, teachers and local representatives. The event presented a donation ceremony, students’ cultural performances and a friendly football match for students. Gate.io has given prices to the best players on the field. To their surprise, the Inter women’s football team sent a special video message, encouraging young Vietnamese students to continue their football dreams.
During the event, Kevin Lee, Director of Affairs of Gate.io, delivered a speech and reaffirmed the dedication of the company to social responsibility and to promote young talents thanks to community -oriented initiatives. “We believe that the” Football for Future “initiative, with the success of its first project, will not only contribute to the development of football culture in Vietnam, but will also reaffirm Gate’s commitment.
