How Blockchain can Drive AI Innovation And Bolster the Energy Grid
Blockchain technology can help modernize the American electrical network by carrying out human work and stranded resources to create decentralized energy infrastructure, according to Cosmo Jiang, a general partner of the basic capital company Pantera.
“All civilization since the start of time has been built on the coordination of incentives, and blockchain is only a new way of encouraging people in a decentralized manner that was not possible before,” said Jiang Cointelegraph in an interview.
The VC explained that concert economy companies have designed ways to allow people to monetize their free time and resources outside their normal working hours thanks to independent commitments. Blockchain can use this by coordinating infrastructure, labor and unused resources to build a decentralized energy network, said Jiang:
“There are some protocols that specialize in using tokens incentives to encourage everyday people to install solar panels on their roofs or install batteries in their homes.
Jiang concluded that this type of energy decentralization is strengthening the network while cutting regulatory administrative formalities which, according to the Trump administration, is one of its three pillars of the “Action plan for America AI”, a strategy to make the United States the world leader in artificial intelligence.

Trump’s White House says that strengthening the American energy network is a major priority for AI development
“The American electrical network is one of the most important and complex machines on the earth. It should also be upgraded to support data centers and other energy -intensity industries in the future,” said a recent white house report.
President Donald Trump repeatedly stressed that the country must maximize its energy resources to meet the demand for AI data centers, crypto extraction and other high -performance computer applications.
This includes exploring nuclear energy production and the shielding of existing network components from electromagnetic disturbances, the president said.
Building redundant energy systems to ensure the maximum availability and resilience of the network, while ensuring that critical backups are always available, is also a political objective of the plan to upgrade the US President’s energy infrastructure.
