I am a voter in one problem; I vote on educational policies. For me, education is not a local problem because the release of the mind is conceptually universal. The idea that the displacement of education in the state will advance the nation is defective because a model of disparate education cannot bring a coherent framework for national economic acceleration. The UTAH model, the Alabama model, the Maryland model, etc. may not be optimal because education requires a national roadmap!
In the United States, basic education is largely funded by local real estate tax, which means that the place where you live determines the quality of your education. A rich child who lives in a rich district will frequent a better school compared to a poor child who lives in a place with a minimum of tax revenue on real estate. So, just like that, communities see shortcomings in success because young people are set up following their place of residence, because learning opportunities are not universal.
