Microsoft to Spend $1.7 Billion on Human Waste Purchase, Here’s Why

Microsoft has signed a 12 -year agreement with American startups in depth to buy and cover 4.9 million metric tonnes of organic waste. Is worth $ 1.7 billion, the transaction is designed to remedy the increasing carbon footprint associated with the growing artificial intelligence activity.
Waste consists of human wastewater, manure, paper sludge, food waste and other carbon-rich by-products. None of these materials will be recycled. Instead, they will be buried by nearly 5,000 feet underground, where decomposition ceases and the dioxide of methane and carbon is contained, far from the atmosphere.
