Peter Thiel-Backed Bullish Crypto Exchange Files for IPO with SEC

Crypto exchange Bullish, backed by Peter Thiel, has filed for an initial public offering (IPO) with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This filing marks an important step for the firm, which comes as optimism grows in the crypto market, following the recent signing of the GENIUS Act by President Donald Trump.

The bill aims to provide regulatory clarity for the cryptocurrency industry, and now, Bullish seeks to capitalize on this momentum as it moves toward becoming a publicly traded company.

Bullish Files for IPO With US SEC

Founded in 2020, Bullish aims to serve institutional investors with a global digital asset platform. The firm describes itself as a provider of mission-critical market infrastructure and services. With a focus on driving the adoption of stablecoins, digital assets, and blockchain technology, Bullish hopes to empower both institutions and individual users alike.

“We aim to provide customized execution that meets the needs of institutional clients while promoting the mainstream adoption of blockchain-based assets,” the company stated. The firm also plans to create a robust, compliance-first infrastructure that can serve the growing demand for crypto services in the financial world.

In its IPO filing, Bullish listed J.P. Morgan, Jefferies, Citigroup as underwriters to lead the offering. Additionally, Cantor, Deutsche Bank, Societe Generale, Canaccord Genuity, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, and Oppenheimer will also play the role of underwriters.
