Ripple Announces $5M Grant APAC Universities
Ripple Labs is expected to initiate an additional $ 5 million to help finance university research and promoting blockchain talents in the Asia-Pacific region.
In a blog post on Tuesday, Ripple Labs announced that he was making additional funding via his University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI), which will finance universities in six countries, with new subsidies allocated to the universities of Taiwan and Australia.
Ubri hired $ 1.1 million at Yonsei University in South Korea on a six -year partnership. In Japan, Ubri hired $ 1.5 million at Kyoto University and Tokyo University. In Singapore, total funding crossed $ 3 million to the Nanyang Technological University and the National University of Singapore.
Professor Yang Liu of the College of Computing and Data Science of Nanyang Technological University, who develops an AI agent on the Ledger XRP, said that subsidies have strengthened his research and development efforts.

In Taiwan, Ubri joined forces with the National University of Sciences and Technology at the University of Science and Technology to explore the tokenization of real world active (RWA).

In Australia, Ubri has strengthened its links with the Australian National University and has teamed up with Victoria University, bringing its total allowance to $ 1.3 million in Australian universities.
