Russia to launch Its Own Ruble-backed Stablecoin, RT-Pay Payment Platform

The Russc state technology giant, Rostec, is entering the digital financial space with large plans. The company should launch its stablecoin, called Rubx, and a new payment system called RT-Pay. Supported 1: 1 by the Russian ruble, these tools aim to offer safe, legal and rapid digital transactions across the country.
Rubx to be supported by real rubles
Rubx is a stablecoin built on the Blockchain Tron. Each token will be fully supported by real rubles, which makes its value equal to a ruble. Rostec, a key player in the military and technological industries in Russia, will be the only transmitter and operator of Rubx. This gives him total control over the management of the token and legal stability.
Deputy Director General of Rostec, Alexander Nazarov, confirmed that the value of the token was guaranteed by real rules obligations, according to Russian law. This guarantees that Rubx is directly linked to the country’s currency in a transparent and trustworthy way.
RT-PAY platform for fast digital transactions
With Rubx, Rostec will also launch RT-Pay, a new digital payment platform that works with individuals and businesses. The platform will be connected to the existing banking system, allowing an easy movement of money using digital wallets and intelligent contracts.
RT-PAY will follow all the Russian financial rules, including the anti-white bank laws and regulations.
The platform code will be made public on Github, and it will be audited by the World Security Company Certik to ensure its safety and reliability.
Russia bet on the blockchain
According to the project manager Dmitry Shumayev, the launch will occur in stages to meet the needs of the various sectors of the economy. A particular emphasis will be on security and integration with current financial systems.
The initiative arrives while Russia also explores its own digital currency from the Central Bank (CBDC), the digital ruble.
Together, these movements show that the country quickly adopts blockchain technology to modernize its financial services.
