In the world, delays are the norm. Google ships first, then manufacturers tweak, test, and deploy. That gap can stretch for months. With Android 15, Samsung’s rollout barely started six months later.
But now, with Android 16, Samsung is narrowing the gap. The beta for One UI 8 is reportedly launching later this month. And the full rollout could align with Samsung’s next Unpacked event in July where the and Z Flip 7 are expected to debut, possibly running Android 16 out of the box.
