SEC Creates AI Task Force As Crypto Roundtables Tour the Nation

The dry crypto working group is about to have a five-month tour in the United States, in a new series of round tables. Hester “Crypto Mom” Peirce is looking for small national entrepreneurs to help shed light on the federal cryptography policy.
Meanwhile, the Commission also builds a new working group to answer AI questions. Until now, its functions are focused on optimizing the dry itself, but the mission could grow from here.
The dry working group goes to the national level
Since its creation, the Cry crypto working group has been a dynamic tool for the regulation of cryptography. Growing hands to foreign governments and industry leaders, the working group was diligent to obtain all the facts. To deepen this objective, he is about to hit the road.
This spring, the commission’s crypto working group welcomed a series of round tables in Washington, DC. They covered a wide range of subjects and were the first place for Paul Atkins, the new dry chair, to talk about crypto.
Today, the head of the working group, Commissioner Hester “Crypto Mom” Peirce, explained his plans to welcome more:
We want to hear people who could not travel for the round tables that took place last spring in Washington, DC and may have had no voices in the efforts to develop past policies. The Crypto working group is perfectly aware that any regulatory framework will have large -scale effects, and we want to make sure that our awareness is as complete as possible, “said Peirce.
Over the next five months, the dry crypto working group will host round tables across the United States. Unlike previous discussions, they will focus on small entrepreneurs.
Peirce launched an open call for web teams 3 with 10 employees or less to share their point of view on the friendly policy of cryptography. This will help ensure that the regulatory recommendations for the SEC better reflect the decentralized philosophy of web3.
A new IA working group
While Peirce and his team run in nine major American cities, the dry will strengthen a new working group. In accordance with the growth potential of the AI sector, this group will seek to explore it. It seems very optimistic, but there is a catch.
Valerie Szczepanik will lead this new organization, and she is not the SEC commissioner. She is a serious veteran of the blockchain and web3 research of the commission, but nevertheless has much less authority than Peirce.
For the moment, it is clear that the AI working group will mainly focus on improving dry:
“The AI working group will make it possible to allow the staff of the SEC with tools and systems compatible with AI in order to increase the capacity of staff, accelerate innovation and improve efficiency and precision,” said Atkins.
However, it’s a start. If the AI working group manages to benefit significantly to the dry, its role could extend to information from federal policy. In the long term, this group could be a powerful tool for pro-Ai political change in the United States.
