SEC Delays Decision on BlackRock’s Spot Ethereum ETF Options Until April

In a final development, the American sec postponed its decision on the proposal of BlackRock to list and exchange options on its fund (ETF) negotiated by ETF (ETF). The new deadline for the DEC decision is set for April 9, 2025.

The SEC said that it would decide on April 9, 2025, whether to approve or disapprove of the negotiation options on the largest Ishares Ethereum Trust of the world’s active manager, according to the file. The SEC said that it needed more time to examine the proposed change of rule and examine the issues raised before making a decision.

“The Commission deems appropriate to designate a longer period in which making an order approving or disapprove of the change of rule proposed so that it has enough time to examine the change of rule proposed and the problems raised there,” said the agency.

The BlackRock ETF ETF spot was approved in May and started negotiating in summer. In August, the Nasdaq, on behalf of Blackrock, filed a change of rule to list and exchange options for Ishares Ethereum Trust.

Two letters were submitted on Nasdaq’s proposal. One, from better markets, warned the dry of being careful before authorizing the negotiation options against Bitcoin Spot and Ethereum and Ethereum and their volatility.
