The Shibarium Development Team of Shiba Inu has opened an internal investigation into previous prints which allegedly orchestrated by bad actors in its ecosystem.
The probe follows an increasing discomfort on the way in which certain projects use the Shibarium network while undergoing its credibility.
Shibarium studies the internal carpet prints
On May 31, Davinci.Shib, basic contributor to Shibarium, revealed the initiative on the social media platform X.
According to him, some network entities have benefited from the system while discrediting it simultaneously. He added that these groups operate under a veil of criticism while extracting the value of the infrastructure they mine.
According to Davinci, the development team intends to publish verified results. However, if the evidence is not conclusive, they will refrain from continuing the measures. The objective, he said, is to maintain transparency without fueling baseless speculation.
These developments follow growing warnings within the Shiba Inu community on malicious actors.
Lucie de Shiba Inu, Lucie, recently warned users about the growing number of scam attempts. She pointed out that attackers can divert social media accounts to disinforce a disinformation or promote fraudulent projects.
Shiba Inu welcomes Dao
While the developers attack internal threats, Shiba Inu has taken a significant step towards decentralization.
On May 29, the ecosystem officially launched Shibdao, a community -based governance framework that allows users to vote on upgrades and critical proposals.
Shibdao introduces a several level governance model that distributes responsibilities through four key Daos.
Shib Dao will supervise community initiatives, Bone Dao will guide the development of the protocol, the leash Dao will love internal disputes and Treatra Dao will finance DAPP innovation and the growth of ecosystems.
The DAO also allows the formation of smaller subdaos, allowing members of the community to claim a name of SHIB (SNS) and to establish autonomous groups. These can focus on niche fields such as art, challenge or public goods.
Meanwhile, this launch coincided with Bury 2.0, a reworked implementation system that allows users to lock the shib, bones, leash and the treatment of tokens to gain voting power. The longer the stake, the more a holder wins in the ecosystem.

The combined launch of Shibdao and Bury 2.0 points out the evolutionary ambition of Shiba Inu – from a token to a structured web3 platform 3, which is rich in public services, governed by its community and designed for long -term sustainability.
