The S&P All Sub-Saharan Africa ex-South Africa index is designed to serve as a comprehensive benchmark for the sub-Saharan Africa ex-South Africa region, covering companies listed in nine countries: Botswana, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Kenya, Mauritius, Namibia, Nigeria, Zambia and Zimbabwe plus companies listed in developed markets that derive the majority of their revenue from the African continent. The index is weighted by float-adjusted market cap.
