Friday morning, Trump spoke out via his social media platform, Truth social, reacting to the news that Israel had launched a night attack against Iran, targeting several nuclear and military sites.
By referring to the ongoing negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program, Trump said that he had given Iran a chance to conclude an agreement.

The United States was definitely not involved in military action overnight, as confirmed by a statement from the Secretary of State Marco Rubio, in which it urged Iran not to target the United States
“Tonight, Israel has taken unilateral measures against Iran. We are not involved in strikes against Iran and our absolute priority is to protect American forces in the region.
