A subsector index within the S&P Kensho New Economy Index Series, the S&P Kensho Enterprise Collaboration Index intends to represent companies that are focused on framework collaboration platforms, which allow companies to integrate messaging, third party app integration, scheduling, documents, and search into a combined system with minimal infrastructure development; cloud communication platforms, or communications platform as a service (CPaaS), that enable businesses to add real-time communications features (voice, video, and messaging) in their own applications/websites without needing to build backend infrastructure significant infrastructure or subsystems that allow end users to run their own enterprise collaboration tools.
