Companies do not hire you simply because you have done good ratings at school. You are hired because you have demonstrated attributes that have resulted in a good result (good notes). To get good grades, you have succeeded in your time, showed a discipline to reach a goal (yes, each student likes good grades!).
The hypothesis is as follows: if you can apply these attributes in a job, the result would be good. You should understand that the processes to get a good note are more important than the real note. Most attributes to success are universal while the notes are not. Staying on course with these attributes makes the future predictable even when the notes become unimportant!
If you have obtained a mediocre diploma, your problem is not bad grades but the processes that have produced the grades. If your processes (prioritization of activity, dedication, concentration, time management, etc.) were excellent but that you have finished with bad grades, everything will be fine, because the root problems could be those of talent, environment, disalg off, etc. Yes, deploy these processes on something else and that success will come.

For what? The world is not a competition for notes but of processes! Market notes are different from your teacher’s ratings because the teacher’s examinations are different from those set by customers. The fact that you have done a + at school does not mean that you can pass with a + before customers (internal and external) at work.
So what are we doing? We must deploy the same tenacity, the same concentration and the hard work that helped us to master the processes required by teachers at school, to master what customers want, if we want to obtain an A + of the market. My answer:: When you create your own jobs, you will have a business. The irony of your comment is the illusion that an entrepreneur does not work in a business. And because it’s yours, you don’t need to have processes. That’s wrong. Each entity of the world is built on the tripod of people, tools and processes, even if you are the person who gives life to this entity. The state of mind that you apply is the one that makes the scaling a more difficult business: it is mine, I have a job and I do not need to improve my processes to develop this business.
