Donut agentic crypto browser raises $7 million to redefine internet browsers
Donut Labs, based in New York, raised $ 7 million in a pre -series financing cycle to build what he claims to be the world’s leading “agent” cryptography browser – a tool designed to help users interact with blockchain -based applications using artificial intelligence.
The Tour was led by Sequoia, Bitkraft and Hackvc, with the participation of providential investors, notably Solana and other ecosystem leaders, such as Matrix Partners, Sky9 Ventures, Makers Fund and Sonicsvm.
The $ 7 million will support the development of Donut, an executable crypto browser propelled by artificial intelligence agents, with a native cryptocurrency portfolio and decentralized exchange integration, access to the decentralized network and an onchain execution.
Unlike traditional web browsers, Donut AI algorithms include the context of the page and the intention of users, which helps him to perform operations based on blockchain independently.
“The traditional navigator has not changed for over 30 years. We revise everything,” said Chris Zhu, founder and CEO of Donut. “We rebuild the Internet before to be hyperfinalized for AI agents.”

Donut users will have access to a range of decentralized tools and crypto services as part of a single agent interface, which could make transaction of digital assets safer.
“Architectural isolated signature environments and risk detection supplied by AI secure each transaction while optimizing execution for speed and cost,” said ZHU, adding that “AI translates opaque Calldata into simple English and attributes security notes”.
Donut AI agents can exchange or exchange tokens, place bets or earn a passive return on digital assets.

Agent browsers could reshape the internet during the next decade
Although the first donut adopters are probably crypto traders, manufacturers or decentralized financing users (DEFI), agent navigators can explode during the dominant current during the next decade.
Over the next five years, Ethereum Layer-2 (L2) networks will use agency browsers to reduce settlement costs. The general public browsers will also integrate agency capacities or strengthen interoperability with agency browsers specially designed as AA becomes cheaper, according to Zhu.
However, the most important adoption will be done in the next decade when the ONCHAIN and OTEPCHAIN environments will be completely merged for Internet users, said ZHU, adding: adding: adding: adding: adding: adding: adding: adding: adding
“Agency browsers are ready to become the default entry point – much like the function phones replaced by smartphones.”
In the long term, Donut aims to support payments, games, content creation and social interaction, all in a single crypto-native browser. The company also plans to take advantage of progress in decentralized identity and confidential IT to transform the browser into a personal “cryptographic CFO” for retail users.
