US lawmaker will reintroduce crypto retirement bill to help Trump agenda

For the second time, the Senator of Alabama, Tommy Tuberville, should reintroduce a bill aimed at allowing Americans to add a cryptocurrency to their retirement savings plans.

In an interview of March 31 Fox News, Senator Tuberville said that he was planning to reintroduce his legislation on the “financial freedom law” after two unsuccessful attempts to obtain the legislation by the congress in 2022 and 2023.

“Give people a chance to breathe for once […] Let them do what they do best [which] Invests their money, ”said the senator.

The Financial Freedom Act, which Tuberville introduced for the first time to the American Senate in May 2022, proposed regulations to reduce the reduction of the Ministry of Labor on the types of investments used in the trustee of the Retirement Plan 401 (K). The senator said he reintroduced the bill on April 1, but the Congress files showed no movement at the time of publication.
