US senators press for answers on Trump’s crypto interests

Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren has called on government representatives to answer questions related to the same and her media company for US President Donald Trump.

In a letter of April 25 to Jamieson Greer, acting director of the US Ethics Office (OGE), Warren, Massachusetts Democrat and the California Democratic Senator, Adam Schiff, asked officials to respond to the concerns about Trump’s same after the president announced a dinner and a visit to the white chamber for some people Trump’s token. “By promising such access, this proposal can involve several federal laws of ethics and constitutional prohibitions, including federal clauses on corruption and emoluments of the American Constitution. He also raises the disturbing perspective that foreign actors publicly use the vector to buy an influence with President Trump and his partners without having to disclose their publicly identities. ”

The letter was sent on the same day that Warren would have expressed similar concerns concerning Potential Conflicts of Trump interests with the American Commission for Securities and Exchange (SEC). According to a Reuters report on April 25, the Senator of Massachusetts urged the president of the SEC, Paul Atkins, to ensure that the surveillance of the Trump media company was “free of political interference and excessive influence of the president and his administration”.
