According to Melissa Song and Dustin Becker, tokenized gold provide several advantages on other forms of paper gold, including the funds negotiated in exchange for gold (ETF).
In an interview with Cintelelegraph, DAO representatives described three major advantages unique to tokenized gold, including the buyout of 1: 1 for a specific amount of physical and serialized gold, use as guaranteed in decentralized financing applications (DEFI) and transactional efficiency by liquidity on demand.
“When you buy an ETF, you bet that the price of gold is increasing, but you do not have a specific gold bar,” said Song Cointelegraph.
The pair added that the price of gold increased in 2025 due to the current macroeconomic uncertainty, the high level of the Debt of the United States government and the geopolitical tensions which reshape the world monetary order.

The current Gold rally could spread in Bitcoin if investors go from the Bitcoin vision as a risk asset to greater value in turbulent economic time which is counter-cyclical to the stock market and other speculative investments.
