XRP, ADA and Altcoins Rally As New SEC Chair Paul Atkins Promises ‘Principled Approach’

The cryptographic community has long been waiting for a pro-Crypto era in the United States, hoping for clearer regulations and support for innovation. Half of this vision began to take shape when Trump took office, promising to do the United States the world capital of cryptography. Now, the other half is set up while Paul Atkins is officially sworn as president of the dry.
“The perfect person”
President Trump was next to the president of the newly useful dry when he took office and promised to make the dry approach to regulate digital assets more sensible and fair. Trump presented Atkins as the “perfect person” to lead the dry, during the swearing -in -law. Trump also hoped that Atkins would end the abusive use of dry power and the unjust management of the SEC under the Biden administration.
He described the “regulation of digital assets” to be an absolute priority and he would provide a solid regulatory basis, because he resumes his role.
“An absolute priority in my presidency will be to provide a firm regulatory basis for digital assets thanks to a rational approach, consistent and based on principles,” he said.
He also ensured that he is doing in the United States the safest and most favorable country in the world, to gently pursue cryptographic operations and to keep the policy outside the securities regulations.
The faith of industry experts in Atkins
Several Crypto defenders have expressed their support and belief in Atkins while the industry is preparing for a major change in an approach focused on the application of the laws of regulatory clarity and a framework focused on guidelines.
“The president of the dry, Paul Atkins, will be good for Bitcoin,“Said Michael Saylor, CEO of Strategy (formerly Microstrategy).
The founder of Steelwave Digital, Mitchell Diraimondo, summarized it perfectly by saying “Atkins is bringing the clarity we need right now.” “Bitcoin finally has an ally in the dry. That the bull begins,” commented the FIO protocol.
The SEC has made regular progress under the acting president Mark Uyeda. A working group on virtual currencies, led by Commissioner Hester Peirce, was created in January to reshape the regulation of virtual currencies. He has already organized two round tables to discuss key issues. The third meeting scheduled for April 25 will focus on the warning of cryptography.
Cryptography market rallies
The cryptography market jumped Thursday, Bitcoin reaching $ 93,500, and major tokens like Cardano (ADA) and Ethereum (ETH) jumping out of 14%. The rally was motivated by a lower US dollar, positive comments on American-Chinese relations and increased institutional demand. The other best performers included Solana (soil), XRP and BNB, while the same Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (Shib) saw earnings of more than 11%, and suis of Suit Network has jumped 30%.
