ZKSync X Account Hacked to Promote Fake ZK Airdrop

ZKSYNC’s Official X (formerly Twitter) has been briefly compromised to promote a false token Ardrop ZK.
The fraudulent position said that each follower was eligible to claim part of the initial token offer. He directed users to a suspicious link: “Distribution-zksync.io”.
The position remained live for about 15 minutes before being deleted. Currently, Zksync has not published any public declaration confirming the violation.
Despite hacking, there has not yet been a significant immediate impact on the price of the ZK token. However, other benefits could still materialize if user confidence is eroding.
Safety experts warn users to remain cautious and avoid interacting with all unaccounts linked to tokens distributions.
This incident highlights the growing frequency of social media violations targeting major cryptography projects.
It is a story in development.
